Inspired by your love stories, life adventures and memories treasured, at Bates Goldsmiths we specialise in Bespoke design, working together with our clients to create something perfectly unique! 

 What can I expect when booking a consultation with BG?

Initially we will meet for a consultation (face to face or virtually) where we can learn of your requirements, Wedding date and initial ideas.
Next we can begin to discuss metal & Gemstone options, whether you have your own heirlooms you are looking to incorporate in to your rings, or if you would like something sourced especially for you.

We have plenty of samples for you to view, so you can see what different metal colours, finishes and design styles look like on the hand. You can customise one of our collection pieces to make it perfectly unique, or let us get to work designing something completely Bespoke for you.

Depending on the complexity of a design and whether we are sourcing specific gemstones for you, as a guide it is usually between 4-8 weeks for completion from this point. This allows good time for any alterations, additional engraving requirements, Hallmarking, etc to be carried out.

We champion quality over quantity and so limit the number of commissions we can take on at any one time. Please aim to book in for your initial complimentary consultation with us in good time to ensure we don't miss working together.
